Milk | 1 cup
Sugar | 1 tablespoon
Pumpkin Puree | 1 tablespoon
Pumpkin Pie Spice | 1 teaspoon
Vanilla extract | 1/2 teaspoon
Coffee | 1/4 cup, already made
Double/Whipped Cream | decoration
In a small pan, whisk 1/2 a cup of milk, sugar, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract over a low heat.
Simmer for 5 minutes, making sure to stir every now and then.
Whisk in remaining 1/2 a cup of milk.
Once whisked, pour the mixture through a sieve to remove any pulp.
Return the mixture to the pan and continue to simmer and stir for another two minutes.
Add the already made coffee into the mixture and continue to stir for another minute or until warm through.
Finally pour the mixture into your favorite mug and enjoy. Add a little sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice to the top of your drink for decoration or if you’re really fancy then also add generous dose of cream.
And there you have it, your own homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte – yum! I’m sorry there wasn’t any pictures of the process. I completely forgot to take any until the end. I’m still new at this but I promise that I will only get better.
